Center information
The Popeye Early Childhood Education Center is an educational center opened in 1978, it has been in operation for 45 years. The center includes the ENTIRE stage of Early Childhood Education, from 0 to 6 years:
First cycle
The first cycle (0-3 years) is private. This belongs to theComplementary Network of Early Childhood Education Centers of the Ministry of Education, which allows families to ask for school aid and dining aid. Likewise, the Palma City Council receives aid from the School Voucher. And for students in the 3rd year of Early Childhood Education we have Free Basic Schooling (4 hours) with a schedule from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Second cycle
The second cycle (3-6 years) is of a concerted nature by the Ministry of Education for 21 years, with sole affiliation to the Juan de la Cierva school.?

The CEIPopeye has facilities adapted to the needs of children. On the ground floor we find an outdoor patio, 3 classrooms for first cycle students, two bathrooms for students and one for staff. We can also locate the kitchen and dining room and the management office. On the upper floor we find three classrooms that belong to the second cycle, a multipurpose room and an office for the guidance team and specialists from the center. In addition, each classroom has its own bathroom. On the top floor we find the school garden.

Morning school
From 7:30 to 9:00 for families who need it.
Lunch service
The food is home-made, with menus adapted to the needs of each student to respond to individual needs.

Family-school information exchange is very important to us.
Trilingual school
The vehicular languages of the center are those of the Balearic Islands with initiation into English.
Guidance team
We have professionals who guide and accompany all the people involved in the education of the students to respond to individual needs (ATE, AL, PT and EOAP
Summer school
Open July and August with recreational activities to spend a great summer.

SCHEDULE
The schedules have been prepared taking into account the evolutionary characteristics of children of these ages and respecting their natural rhythms of eating and resting as well as their need for movement. Adapting the Balearic Islands Curriculum for Early Childhood Education. The schedule for each infant cycle is specified below:
FIRST CYCLE

Morning: from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Hours of permanence of the students of 1st cycle is from 08:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

SECOND CYCLE

2nd Cycle students stay at school from 9am to 1pm and from 3pm to 5pm (except Fridays, until 3pm).

Extracurricular and Complementary Activities every day from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. within the hours of stay.
